This one is for the Gaiman Boy Wub.
Dec. 20th, 2005 10:49 amCalled up British Council, but the person dealing with the Gaiman Boy is on holiday. So called up Golden Village instead since they're the people who hold the rights for the screening of the movie. Sweet-talked a film-distribution department lassie (Who was drinking coffee no less when I called and it took a lot of small talk to make her less cranky. Apparently she has been hounded by far too many rabid Gaiman Boy fans in her department and does not understand the Gaiman Charm at all. "Oh, you'll have to watch the movie when it comes out then, wouldn't you? To learn a bit more about the Gaiman attraction" I asked. "Hmph! Maybe" was her answer. XD;;;) and this is what I've learnt:
Screw what Brit Council say on their website, the GV people themselves are clueless as to when the movie will actually start screening. Notice I said "start screening" and not "premiere" because the movie has already premiered. For some unknown reason, the movie's screenings have been supposedly pushed back to next year, January. Exact dates are unknown.
Okay? Okay.
I need sleep now.
