#1: When you heard the word "magnetic" or "biomagnetic", run away.
#2: The way to get people to believe you're not a native of this island and get unasked discounts from service staff is to smile a lot.
#3: The way to creep out creepy out-to-cheat-you idiots who work with "magnetic" or "biomagnetic" shit is also to smile a lot too. Kind of amused yea-I-know-exactly-what-you-are expressions work too. Because who has ever heard of a company being with no junior clerks and everyone's a manager or supervisor or something? (And fuck, if I have to see one more picture of your darling director getting drunk or his car before the interview...)
#4: Always change into your interview clothes when you can and the best are the washrooms at MRT stations. Buildings may have locked toilets and you do not really want get to the point where you start considering changing in the emergency lift. One word. Camera.
#5: 12th volume. Bleach is really an AU of PMK, I wub Aizen Sousuke a lot and Tite Kubo is an arse. "Flower on the Precipice" explains everything. *wah*
#6: The FMA manga has finally been published by Tong Li! Which is good. Nobody here carries M'sia comics (unlicensed, they say) and the HK editions' prices are enough to make one back away from the shelves.
#7: There's no Franz Ferdinand album on this island. (Tower Records and HMV don't count.) Not even in the Musical Geek Boy's shop. (He has never heard of them. *insert*)
#8: Don't seem to have good reviews of Troy aka the Skirt Movie out there. Hmm. However, this post along with its comments cracks the shit out of me.
