Firefox has somehow decided to die on me. As it works fine, but when I try to connect to sites, I keep getting "your attempt timed out" messages. Initially thought it was the network's problem, but after calling up friends, it seems that IE works just fine. Which is what I am reduced to using now. (Seriously, after using Firefox and its tabs, IE seems clunky and bothersome in comparison. I'm used to emptying my cookie bin every 5 minutes or so, damnit.)
MSN is also giving me problems. According to Cat, I have been online these fews days and haven't been replying to her messages. The problem is I didn't receive any message of hers. oO; Quick scan and there was no virus though. Anyway. Writing this down here so...er. Windows, that total asswipe, downloaded and installed Service Pack 2 when I was taking a nap. Tried all the suggestions to remove the pack as stated on the official site, but nothing seems to work. (Ability to remove the pack from the control panel. HA.) The same thing happened to the desktop back home and it seems I just have to get used to a cluttered desktop.
Bill Gates? I don't care how cute and fuckable you looked back then. This? NOT GOOD.
GRR.
**LATER:
Sticking a little blurb on The Pillow Book of Sei Shoonagon here.
She's interesting and reminds me far too much of a certain online figure. Down to the whole discovery of the pillowbook/LJ/blog part. (No. Have not finished read the pillowbook, but I always cheat and read from the back.)
In both cases, I don't know them personally. But honestly think as much as they're interesting, if I met them in RL, I would flee. Really, flee.
