liberal abuse of the capslock key
Nov. 7th, 2007 01:18 amIt's been a really slow season for anime-watching. Nowadays, the conversations between E and I go something like that: "What are you watching?" "*insert*" "Oh. Watched that already. SIAAAAAAAAAAN." "I AM WATCHING AGAIN LA DEY!"
That said, Zombie Loan is not bad, but it's really a quickie with only 11 episodes. (Finished it in one night.) Production I.G and Shirow Masamune are at it again with Ghost Hound. Fansubs are only at episode 2, but it currently appears to be a mix of Ghost Hunt and GitS:SAC. Baccano looks fun. I can't believe we have Galaxy Express II. (I am not touching any more of Leiji Matsumoto's work after Galaxy 999.)
CLAMP in Wonderland 2 = AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH~ ♥!
Yup, those ladies still know how to make the fangirls beg for it. Kamui Vs. Fumma! TRC! MUMMY WATANUKI BWAHAHAHA! So many well-loved and sorely missed characters! (Who look happy! Kinda?) I've stopped reading CLAMP's work because there is only so much cockblock/pussyplug one can endure in life, but CiW2 sure makes one nostalgic.
Non-anime visual candy? Pushing Daisies. So so so so good. Like a technicoloured Gothic love-child of Rahl Dahl and Tim Burton. Created by Bryan Fuller of Dead Like Me. No guesses for what comes included. (CLUE: People who should be dead, but are not due to weird and insane reasons.)
