I think I sprained a butt muscle from carrying the above mathafooker for most part of the day. (Home -> Bugis, Bugis -> Orchard -> Marina -> Suntec -> OMGHOME) It's one thing to backpack with something that size and weight and another to walk long distances with it. I think I nearly took some heads off everytime I turned sideways too.

Anyway.

Basement Jaxx's "Good Luck (ft. Lisa Kekaula)" is one my favourites. There's that kick-ass mecha-moving sounding introduction, the slow build-up after that (which IMHO is the best part), the jangly handclaps, electricity-sounding bass, crazy AIYAHYAHYAAAHs and then the Angry Kekaula who kicked her Ex into the River Nile and is now having fun hugging a lifeguard float on the river bank while crocs are chasing said Ex.

Doesn't hurt the track was used in Appleseed.

But a remix?!!!

Found the remix when I was playing with The Hype Machine. (Yes, I have too much time on my hands currently. I've ran out of things to watch and my HD, out of space.) Still trying to decide my mind on it. It isn't bad, but there're the irritating chord-things and parts that make the track sound like a better track from an Ah Beng's collection when he drives his zhng-ed car down Mount Faber. (Follow the link to hear a damn good impersonation of an Ah Beng talking about zhng-ed cars. XDDD)
